British Food Fortnight will kick-off in Hadlow with a Food Fayre on September 21 showcasing food produced within a ten mile radius of Hadlow and Tonbridge.
Visitors will be able to meet local producers, taste and buy some of the high quality produce available locally. From rare breed Gloucester Old Spot pork to sun-ripened plums picked just hours beforehand, or from artisan bread to seasonal game pies, the event celebrates the abundant harvest in this corner of the Garden of England.
We will also be launching the Hadlow Cook Book, with recipes by the people of Hadlow. Copies will be on sale at the fayre.
The Food Fayre takes place in Hadlow Old School Hall, just off the High Street, from 9.30am to 12.30pm on September 21 – the first day of British Food Fortnight.
